Hi! I’m Pam Lanman Guzzone.

I'm a credentialed coach, facilitator and speaker.

​​I became a coach about two thirds of the way through my 30 year career at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. As part of the coaching team at Goddard, I completed a formal, accredited coach training program and over the following years coached many NASA scientists and engineers, emerging leaders and senior-level leaders.  For more than a decade I’ve been a coach within Leadership Howard County’s Leadership Essentials program and worked with clients from Howard Community College, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, the Enterprise Foundation, and the Horizon Foundation among others.

 

I am accredited through the International Coaching Federation at the ACC level.  Whether your challenge is personal or organizational, coaching can be invaluable to your growth and success.

I help people like you with career and life transitions and challenges - assisting you in getting from where you are to where you want to go.

This may sound easy, but most of us know that sometimes navigating life and/or career can be overwhelming. During these times, you may feel stuck or disappointed, unsure of what your next steps could or should be.  Or maybe you are in a new position with different requirements or learning how to navigate in a new business culture. 

 

I believe my coaching journey has prepared me to support you.  I am willing and able to listen generously. I will create space for you to be heard, and support you in exploring, navigating, discovering and ultimately achieving your desired outcome. My approach to coaching is focused on you – that can range from a one to two session engagement for a specific concern, to one of my 3-month package engagements, to longer term ‘strategic thought partnerships’ sessions.

Coaching Packages

Strengthen Self-Awareness and Confidence

This program is designed to help you see and own your whole and wonderful self.  Over the course of our sessions you will complete an assessment and receive a debrief, set goals, explore what may be holding you back, and build (or re-focus) practices that support your goals.  At the end of the engagement you will have:

  • An assessment 

  • A list of personalized and specific goals to support you

  • More awareness of self-limiting beliefs and behaviors

  • New and/or re-focused practices to build and sustain goals

  • An enhanced sense of self-worth

  • A final assessment and summary of attainment or progress towards stated goals

Balance and Agility in

Work and Life

This engagement is for those struggling with the ever present challenges of constant change or work-life balance. It is designed to help you recognize when you are off balance, what causes it, and rebalancing practices that work for you. At the end of the engagement you will have:

 

  • An assessment

  • A list of personalized and specific goals to support you

  • Developed awareness of situations and triggers that knock you off balance

  • Enhanced ability to notice, react and re-establish your balance

  • New and/or re-focused practices to build and sustain goals

  • A final assessment and summary of attainment or progress towards stated goals

Leadership and Career Development

Been promoted?  New supervisory or managerial position?  Leading a new team?  This engagement is designed to help you move to the next level of on leadership journey.  It will help you move on to the next level of your leadership journey.  At the end of the engagement you will have:

 

  • An assessment

  • A list of personalized and specific goals to support you

  • Developed awareness of your leadership role and how it differs from previous positions

  • Explored leadership and management tools and practices

  • A final assessment and summary of attainment and/or progress towards stated goals
